Grovyle's Secret -3-

All around us there is a loud cackling of electricity, just a few moments ago it was smooth... I notice a mysterious shape among the turbulence.

"what's that...?"

The next thing I know there's a bright light, and my Partner has let go of my hand.
I attempt to reach for her, but it's too late...

She's gone...


When I wake up again I'm near a forest.
I have to shield my eyes at the sunlight. It's so... so beautiful... I feel a breeze blow cool air and I sigh, content.
I can... I can hear water moving... I can smell the ocean air...

I notice it's still early, and so I brave the light with my eyes.
The first thing I see over the mountains... is the sunrise.

The clouds turn a mixture of warm pinks and purples, the sun just beginning to peek over the mountains.
All around me the grass is wet with dew, sending rainbows of light into the misty air.

It's... breathtaking...
It's been so long since I've seen the sunrise.
it's beautiful...

I slowly find my way to my feet with a pained grunt. I took a small bit of damage from the turbulence but I should be fine now.


That's when I notice my hands are covered with crimson blood.
