Basic info

Males are usually darker in colour, with crimson inner ears and shorter hair, with darker tails
Females usually have lighter fur, and longer hair, as well as more pastel-coloured tails
Hitaneon is cloaked with a ghostly Aura, visible only at night.
Hitaneon's tails are it's source of power and of life driven by the spirit inside it's body - once the spirit becomes too exhausted, all of it's tails become grey and wither, and the pokemon dies
Hitaneon have the ability to see spirits in the afterlife and converse with them.
Hitaneon are naturally caring creatures, known to lend assistance to lost children.
Hitaneon's tails ar ribbon-like, but not easily ripped- only the fiercest of pokemon are able to tear them

Evolution
An Eevee must meet with the spirit of a dead child, the two will fuse- creating this pokemon.


Folklore

It is said that by uncovering Hitaneon's eyes, you will be posessed by evil spirits.
Much like the legend of ninetails, touching one of this pokemons tails is said to ensure that after death you will forever wander the earth as a spirit.
It is said that anytime an abused child is finally killed, Hitaneon lets out a cry because of the abused spirit within it.
Some folklore describe Hitaneon as death itself.

Hitaneon may also combine with the spirits of pokemon, but only those who are restless due to abandonement, abuse, or any sort of trauma

When melding with a pokemon Hitaneon will look different than this one- it will take on qualitites of the other pokemon as well.

for example:

An Eevee melds with a Ghastly, it's tails, though still rainbow, are like air- there is only a slight colourful glow, and they are poisonous to touch.
The tongue may hang out a bit of it's mouth.
