I cried out as I hit the concrete floor of the cell, I quickly turned and attempted to run only to be face-to-face with a man.
His hand moved in a blurr and my face stung as I fell back.
I glared at him with hatred. What did team rocket want with me?

The man silently locked the door, his footsteps echoed downthe hallway into silent oblivion.
I observed the dark room, my eyes adjusting to the lack of light almost immediately.
I noticed a strange shape in the corner, and silently I moved towards it.

I heard the sound of hollow breathing- the breathing of something large... but also the breathing of something that was in terrible pain...
I moved towards it, my hand outreached.

My hand suddenly felt something warm, as my hand made contact whatever was there flinched and made a weak noise.
I whispered in hopes of calming whatever pokemon it was.

"It's alright... I'm not going to hurt you..."

I wondered what team rocket had done to this pokemon for it to be so afraid. I was suddenly shocked as a yellow light like electricity brightened the room.
The pokemon in front of me cried out as the electricity flowed through it's body.
I felt tears run down my face.

In front of me, broken, beaten, bleeding... was Arceus. The electricty eventually stopped and his head fell with a loud thud to the floor.
The room darkened again, and for a moment I was paralyzed with fear.

Arceus... his eyes had been wide and tears flowing form them. What had team rocket done to him? And that strange collar on his neck... what was it?
There was so much blood on his neck...
He's so thin...

I quickly felt for his head on the floor, I remembered that I had some matches in my pocket, and quickly lit one.
I gently patted Arceus's head, seeing if he was awake.
He let out a weak groan, and I sighed in relief, I wanted to ask him what team rocket was doing, but something told me doing so might get him injured.

I looked at him sadly.
"Arceus..."

At the mention of his name, his eyes opened slowly.
They were full of pain and sorrow. I could almost feel it just by looking into them, there was so much pain he had been feeling...
His eyes peered at me weakly, almost as though asking me to help him.

"I'll find a way to get us both out of here... I promise..."

Arceus's eyes shone for a moment before he closed them again.
I took the match and I began looking about the room.
When I had finished my search, I had come up with only a few things- A rope, an empty pokeball, and a few potions.

I decided to use the potions on Arceus, hoping to ease his pain.
As the potions worked he sighed contently, as though even the tiniest relief of his pain was a gift. I used both potions on him and began to think.
All I had left now was a rope and a pokeball.

I could easily get out through a hole I had found in the wall, it had been sealed at one point, but after digging at it until a few of my fingernails had fallen off, it was only a few hits away form collapsing.
I peered at the pokeball, If I captured arceus in it, I didn't know what would happen. I clicked to make it larger only to find it was broken anyways.

I sighed and tossed it aside, all I had now was a rope...
I peered about and wondered if running to get help would be an option.
I knew it wouldn't be, as soon as the rockets found me gone they might torture the poor Arceus until it told them where I had gone, then I might not be able to see him again...

I sighed and instead held the match up to observe the collar around Arceus's neck.
I observed ti from several angles, and felt sick when I noticed that inside of the collar were spikes, and they were stuck deep inside of Arceus's neck.

I sighed, maybe in his somewhat healed state he could use judgement?
I quickly asked Arceus if he could manage an attack, to my surprise he replied.

"...I need to rest just a little more... and then I'll try... It's the least I can do... thank you for helping me all this time..."

I smiled at the Arceus who raised his neck slightly and seemed to stretch, he let out a slight cry as the collar moved, causing blood to stream down his neck again.

"I hope we can get this terrible collar off of you... why did they do this to you, Arceus?"

He looked at the cieling for a moment, before turning his head slowly to me, eyes sad.
"Child... I do not know the reason... I only know I have been abused far too long, and even if they electrocute me until the last of my power leaves my body... I shall fight."

I smiled slightly at this, it was good to see Arceus still had an unbroken spirit.

A small while later he gently nudged me from sleep.

"Cover your ears... I'm going to use judgement on this buiding... Get between me and the wall, I'll make sure to keep you safe."

I quickly climbed between Arceus and the wall, keeping close to his side. I covered my ears.
"Ready"

I watched as Arceus built up a ball of light right in front of him, in a suddenly flurry he released it.
The attack spread out, cutting away some of Arceus's chains, and eroding away the walls nearby in a huge earthquake.
An alarm sounded and we heard footsteps.

"Quickly! on my back!"

I quickly scrambled onto Arceus's back and he stood weakly before stumbling a few steps, he cursed himself aloud.
I quickly got off, and his movement improved, I ran beside him away form the building.

The footsteps sounded behind us, hundreds of grunts were running after us, hot on our trail.
I looked back, they were almost close enough...

"Arceus... leave me behind!"

Arceus looked back with surprise.
"You saved me, I could never do such a thing!"

I smiled, tears threatening their way. I was afraid, but...

"please Arceus! I can't bear the thought of them hurting you anymore! Find someone who will remove that collar- leave me behind until you can defeat these people again- promise me!"

Arceus looks at me sadly, before nodding at me.
"I'll return one day soon... I swear..."

It's been many years since then...
I'm still trapped...
There are bracelets on my wrist... with spikes deep inside of my wrist. It hurts.
But... I know Arceus will come.
He has to come...

he promised...

T-T P-p-poor Arceus...
Element: Whuh?
You shoosh. You can't take anything seriously unless it's life threatening.
Also, never get caught by Team Rocket. Ever. Please?
