Gales of Darkness XD005

It was late one evening..
I was watching the silent river tumble over the rocks of the waterfall and slow into a swirling pool when I noticed it.

A pink pokemon that was flying just across the river, every now and then it would let out a happy cry as it bit into a berry it had found.
I observed the pokemon and silently took out my book of known species and signaled to my vulpix, Yuki, who nodded.

I searched through the book of 150 pokemon quickly, only to see that this pokemon wasn't there. I peered back up to see it had disappeared. I frowned somewhat disappointed and turned to walk away.

Suddenly I was face-to-face with the tiny pokemon, it's blue eyes staring at me with curiosity
"Biii... Celebiii!"

Celebi?
I quickly wrote it down in my book, and added a description the pokemon sat still with interest as I drew a quick sketch of it into my book.
When I had finished I peered at it with interest and it suddenly sat on my shoulder.
I was a bit surprised that a wild pokemon was so eager to sit on a human, let alone be anywhere near one.
Yuki looked rather shocked too, and let out a cry at the pokemon that seemed like a question.
The tiny pink Celebi sat on Yuki's back and hugged her.

I smiled at the friendliness of this pokemon, but wondered what it was doing here.
I observed one of my pokeballs, messing with it a bit. Supposedly there would be a new model out in a few years that we wouldn't have to twist open and closed.
Honestly I used to think it was a bunch of scientific hullaballo.

Suddenly a strange noise emitted from the forest and I felt dizzy, the Celebi seemed to grab onto me for some reason and the next thing I knew I was waking up again.
I opened my eyes and saw a huge building, I wondered where I was and how I had gotten here.
I noticed the Celebi was gone, and I picked up Yuki who was on the ground next to me.
I picked up my book of pokemon and was shocked as one I had never seen jumped past.
I observed the pokemon closely, it looked like some sort of blue bird.
It let out a cry as it noticed me

"piplup! lup!"

A piplup? Never heard of it.
Once again I wrote it in my book and did a quick sketch, I looked around and saw tons of new pokemon I'd never seen.
Figuring I had nowhere near enough pages in my book, which we called a pokeregister, I went to the nearby shop.
When I walked inside I felt shocked, there were all sorts of pokeballs that seemed so different, none of them were like mine.
I pulled out one of my pokeballs and compared it to a shops, the woman running the shop came over.

"my my! Where did you get one of those pokeballs? I haven't seen those in about 70 years!"

I felt confused.
Where was I?
I asked the woman the date, and she quickly told me.
My jaw dropped.

Somehow... Just somehow, that tiny pokemon had brought me into the future...
by about 100 years.
I asked the woman if she knew about something called Celebi, and she said it was a rare pokemon.
I told her about my ordeal, and once I had finished she let out a hearty laugh.

"you kids and your pranks today, go on, shoo"

I suddenly found myself outside of the shop. I peered around some more.
It seemed almost like the sky had darkened.
I noticed a huge pokemon flying in the sky and I watched it, It seemed to be large and black, shaped somewhat like a Rapidash.
It had these strange rings around it that were crimson with black jewels. It's underbelly and face were crimson too.
I noticed that it had hooves, and that something red was dripping from them.

The pokemon suddenly touched ground in front of me and glared at me, I felt afraid as it came near, it's eyes almost insane looking.
Suddenly the pink Celebi was right in between me and the creature, she let out a cry that sounded like pleading.

"biii! Celebiii! bii!"

The crimson and black pokemon merely continued to glare.
Suddenly it was gone, I looked around to see the town burning.
People were flung over rooftops and into bushes.
I walked looking for survivors, but the only thing I found that day were fountains that ran crimson.

I ran to another town by Celebi's lead and got some information, they said the huge pokemon I had seen was called an Arceus, and was the pokemon that created everything.
I was surprised, as we had always been told Mew was the ancestor of all pokemon.
I looked at Celebi and wondered what I was supposed to do.

Celebi lead me many places, but finally we came to what looked like a castle, we had crossed the ocean on my Lapras.
I looked up to the huge building, at looked at Celebi questioningly.
She nodded and I climbed the stairs.

Once we reached the top we were greeted by a woman who said her grandfather was a man named Greevil. The woman had Black hair and Crimson eyes, and she looked a lot like me. I looked to Celebi who was glaring at the girl who couldn't be older than 18.

She sent out four pokemon.
The Arceus and three Similar pokemon.
She called them Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.
They were all crimson and black in colour and they were all equally frightening.
I realized I was no match, and I looked at Celebi with fear.
My pokemon were barely level 40, how was I supposed to defeat these pokemon the woman claimed were legendaries?

Celebi stood in front of me and let out a loud cry. Before I knew it there were several other pokemon standing about too.
A small star-shaped one looked back and grinned sleepily. "Jirachi"
A pokemon I recognized as Mew flew about me and cried out playfully before turning serious and joining the other two.

The battle raged and I watched, wondering why I had been brought here If I was only a bystander.
Eventually the battle ended,and Celebi came over to me happily, passing me the pokeballs that held the four pokemon. I smiled and when the authorities came for the woman I handed them the pokeballs.
I smiled at Celebi but suddenly felt a sharp pain.
I looked down to see a hole in my chest, somehow the Arceus had escaped it's pokeball.
The police quickly recalled it and a seargent yelled at the one who had allowed it out. I felt myself fading.

Jirachi looked sad as Celebi shook me crying out

"biii! Celebiiiiii!"

A tiny voice echoed in my head.

"I'm Jirachi... Celebi saw your future in the past... you were going to die the night that you met her, she couldn't stand it so she brought you here... but it seems --- ---- be -------... I'm so-ry"

I heard the words come in and out as I collapsed, Celebi continued shaking me and crying out.

"Celebiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!"

The darkness is fading in...

Goodbye Celebi...

Thank you for trying to save me...
